It really has a lot to do with his aesthetic as a phantom thief, coat, red gloves and vigilante status. For years I’ve obsessed over vigilantes or comic book heroes and Joker fits the bill for me.
His attitude. Akira gives off a rather cocky vibe to me that really can make him extremely blind to real danger, not to mention his need to show off, then again it’s his charm which in turn can really worry the people that cares for him should they not have a clue of his extra ativities.
(I’m going to send something that’s a little post Persona 5, Akira as a vigilante within his hometown solving local crimes and such.)

09:07PM - Aoya Club.
Life back in the countryside has been anything but quiet in comparison to Tokyo. The club is currently bustling with activity, teenagers of age and below along with young adults danced to the beat of the music and some comfort conversing with one another at the bar. Among the crowd were four men. Dressed in designer brand formal clothing told the story that these individuals were in need of anything but money. However, outside of this club was a young man making his way towards the location on foot, his hand tapping away at buttons upon his mobile device taking a glance at the faces he’d needed to keep a look-out for within the vicinity. These pictures, of course, were given to him in confidence from a detective on the force that he’s sided with as Joker. Neither completely trusts the other, however, they both wanted the same thing, to get these men off the streets.
The phone began to vibrate in his grasp, picture displaying upon the screen notified him that it was that very detective that called him upon this private phone. With one swipe against the screen with his digit, he answers the call. “Joker? Just got word that the men already entered the club, be careful and try not to cause a ruckus this time around.” The man said over the phone, his tone ever serious as always and Akira simply chuckles and shook his head. “Fine fine.” Not that he could get into too much trouble considering the amount of innocents that would be caught in the crossfire. “These aren’t like your regular muggers, these are yakuza. I’m already having second thoughts having some kid in a coat handle my job for me, but you can get into places I can’t so I need to hear you say you got this.” The detective actually expressed a hint of worry in his voice and it was genuine, that alone made the teen take the job a lot more seriously before he smirks stopping at the club’s entrance. “I got this.”
The call had then ended as he touches the doorknob and opens the door to enter. Akira took precautions himself, in addition to a pair of sunglasses he wore so late at night he also wore a dark hat to try and cover his identity as much as he possibly could. His clothing was nothing that would make him stand out from the average teenager, a dark blue blazer, a white shirt beneath it, a pair of jeans and lastly boots that were lighter than they appear. “Alright, I’m looking for..” His eyes began to scan the room, his feet took him forward through the crowd until he spotted the four men he needed to find. He recognized three out of the four but he figured this was still a tiny victory. Akira slowly made his way through the crowd in order for him to at least eavesdrop on their conversation.
“Yeah, the old man wouldn’t dare disagree with me on this plan, it’s about time the Oni clan take back what was theirs. Punks in the Senju family wouldn’t know what hit them, are the boys ready?”
“Heh, course. Just got the word from Toya that we’ve got the guns, they’re actually itching to get this started. They’re already sittin’ tight near the central shopping district.”
“Good, well boys we’ve got an hour, drink up, find a girl, do whatever the hell you want because after today WE make history.
Akira’s eyes opened widely, guns..central shopping district. Did he just hear all of that right? This sounds like an all-out turf war..but as far as the other clan is concerned this is going to be a slaughter. Trying not to make a scene he made his way towards the bar to pretend as if he were going to grab a drink and simply leave the club. The young man took towards the narrow alleys only to hide within its shadows as he began to dial the number of the detective.
“Hello?”
“Hey, I got something.”
“What’d you find out.”
“I think there’s going to be turf war in the central shopping district. They’ve got numbers and guns and it’s going to happen in one hour.”
“What?! Dammit?! I didn’t think they’d pull this kind of stuff, either way, good goin’ kid. You’re done for the night. Now just go home and leave this to the adults this time, it’s way out of your league.”
“Fine.”
Akira said with a false tone of disapproval before closing the call. The detective said not to interfere but thinking of what he can do right here right NOW could be beneficial for those doing their late shift. “Should consider buying a scooter.” The teen said with a soft-spoken tone before aiming his arm at the rooftop of the small building beside him and a thin steel wire shot out from a contraption upon his wrist and under his sleeve that transforms its tip into a claw and grips rather tightly against the edge of the rooftop and reels him upwards until he himself was atop the roof. Throwing off both hat and shades that were then replaced with a dark domino mask over his face to once again keep his identity a secret. However, now it was a race against time, even with parkour methods it should take him approximately 15 minutes just to get there and without a moment to spare the young man charges forward into a sprint.
Leaping off the first building with a somersault, the moment his body was balanced the grappling hook was shot out once more, pulling him towards a nearby rooftop and this continues until he arrives at the shopping district. So far, for now, the streets were quiet and the police were nowhere in sight, there were those that were simply taking care of their last obligations with their shops. Akira’s eyes from this height caught a few individuals walking through the alley of the area. One of those individuals holsters a gun under his shirt. “Grunts.” He spoke under his breath, they were alone and innocents were not giving this area attention whatsoever. There was no time to go back home for his costume considering his job was to simply acquire information, but knowing what he’s up against now he simply couldn’t ‘leave it to the police.’ And so with his mind made up Joker pushes himself from the edge of the roof, his eyes changing from their natural gray into a crimson shade as he descends.
He puckers his lips to whistle, gaining their attention below. “What the-?!” One spouted in surprise. His third eye helps him gain the advantage in agility, as they were all moving so slow in his perception as he soundly lands upon the floor and attacks his assailants. One received a roundhouse kick that sends his head crashing into a wall. Quickly he pulls out his own model gun and fires a shot into the second man’s chest. The rubber bullet crashing into his chest and quickly covers the man’s mouth to muffle his screaming and slams that man’s head into the wall as well. Quick as he was no Flash and the third assailant had his time to throw a punch towards the vigilante but it was still just too slow, shifting his body towards the side to dodge the punch and then grabbing his arm and forcefully pulls him off the floor and slams him back first onto the ground now having each of them down in submission as he dusts both his hands. “Okay, first half was easy.”
He began searching each of their pockets for their guns that were then emptied and tossed in different directions. One of these unconscious men were then stripped away of their clothing in order for Joker to take on their colors to blend in if anything he could help the officers from the INSIDE and find a way to escape before it’s too late.
